Whitedog Racing

 

For the last few years, Stephen's vision was to put together a Whitedog Racing V8 Ute program for 2013 after having an opportunity to race James Brock's V8 Ute at Clipsal.

2013
Whitedog Racing commits to the V8 Ute Series.


2007-08

Pursued racing opportunities in the United States in the Indy Racing Leagues Firestone Indy Lights Series; Driver training and high-speed driving for Mercedes, John Bowe, Rick Bates, Murcotts and other manufacturer work; Testing and driver coaching for various open-wheel and sedan racing teams in Australia.

2006
Participated in the Commodore Cup Series (baby V8 Supercar); Initiated a program to position himself for a permanent professional driving opportunity in an Australian or U.S. motorsports series; Driver training and high-speed driving for Mercedes, John Bowe, Rick Bates, Murcotts and other manufacturer work; Testing and driver coaching for various open-wheel and sedan racing teams in Australia.

2005
Competed in the Commodore Cup Series (baby V8 Supercar) with more pole positions and front-row starts than anyone else, placing third in the championship; Evaluated as one of Fords test drivers at the Ford Proving Ground; Driver training and high-speed Laps for Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) in Australia.

2004
Contracted to drive in Singapore for a new vehicle launch for Kia where high precision driving was required; Racing and test drives with competitors running in several series, including Carrera Cup and MoPro Australia.

2003
Invited by Holden Young Lions to appear in a television pilot for a Holden-sponsored golf show, representing the world of motorsports as a Holden driver; Appeared in a television commercial for Ultra Hair, endorsing their product; 

2002
Debuted at the Adelaide Clipsal 2002 V8 Supercar Championship for Ultra Tune Racing, finishing 17th; Invited by The Bonnie Babes Foundation to help raise money for their charity by taking passengers for rides at Calder Park Raceway, raising a total of $37,000 for that organization; Invited by IMS Motorsport to compete in the V8 Championship at Hidden Valley in Darwin; Invited to launch the new Toyota Camry at Melbourne's World Trade Centre; Competed in the GTP ProCar Series at the Sandown 500 driving a Proton, finishing first and second; Finished first in the GTP ProCar Series at Philip Island (Australia) driving a Proton.

2001
Competed in the Marque Sports Championship, driving an AC Cobra, with finishes of first and second.

2000 
Invited by the Australian Ford and Holden Engineering teams to drive test cars at their respective proving grounds. Tested the Toyota MR2 and Nissan 200SX. Performed as a precision driver in several television commercials for car manufacturers, including Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota. Traveling between the UK and Australia, instructed at Jim Murcotts Driving Centre and was a Car Control Stage 1, Stage 2 and Special Projects Instructor for eight years, working in Melbourne and other States.

1999
Tested for several Formula 3000 teams in the UK and Germany.

1998
Competed in Formula Palmer Audi Championship in the UK, scoring a first place at Silverstone, podium finishes throughout the year and several driver of the day awards.

1997
Participated in the Holden Racing Team / Holden Young Lions program and was scheduled to get a drive with the Young Lions in 1997's Bathurst 1000; Raced two rounds of the Shell Championship in Mallala and Oran Park, finishing in the top 12; Represented Australia for the second time in the Nations Cup at Donington, UK, with Martin Donnelly Racing.

1996
Third in the British Formula Renault Championship; Second in the European World Formula Renault finals in France at Magny Cour (F1 circuit), and was awarded driver of the day for two rounds of the 13-round Championship series.

1995
Competed in the German Formula Renault Championship, achieving third on his first outing and podium finishes throughout the year; Tied for the pole position for the Formula Brabham (Holden) race, which was a support race during the Australian F1 Grand Prix weekend in Adelaide, finishing second the very first time racing in that series.

1994
Achieved lap records, podium finishes and finished fourth outright in the British Formula Ford Championship driving for the Swift Factory Formula Ford team; Represented Australia in the Nations Cup in Holland at Zanvoort. 

1993
Runner-up in the Australian Formula Ford Championship.
